This week's edition of Classical Guitar Alive! is titled "Elegies and Homages," and features music written in honor of others, including Brouwer's homage to Agustin Barrios Mangore, Castelnuovo-Tedesco's homage to Boccherini, Brouwer's Concerto Elegiaco (for Julian Bream), and Granado's Tonadillas, including his "La Maja de Goya" in honor of painter Francisco Goya. This edition is dedicated to the memory of Fletcher Johnson, a good friend of both Classical Guitar Alive.
