October 14, 2009 "Rising Stars/Dimitri Diatchenko, Isaac Bustos Interviews"
This week's edition of CLASSICAL GUITAR ALIVE! features interviews with two rising stars: acor/guitarist Dimitri Diatchenko, and guitarist Isaac Bustos. In interviews recorded in October 2008, Dimitri Diatchenko relates the similarities and differences of acting and performing as a solo guitarist, and describes his experience working with Harrison Ford in the latest Indiana Jones film, "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." A winner of several inernational guitar competitions, the young Nicaraguan-born virtuoso guitarist Isaac Bustos discusses music of Scarlatti from his debut CD, in an interview recorded in November 2008.
